The Florida Wildlife Hospital & Sanctuary (http://www.floridawildlifehospital.org) is a non-profit organization dedicated to Florida’s wildlife in need. They aid sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife and return them to the wild. It was founded in 1973.

FWH is open 365 days a year to admit native Florida wildlife and migratory birds. Nearly 5,000 animals are admitted each year. Some of the animals that they aid include pelicans, gannets, herons, songbirds, raccoons, otters, and turtles. FWH also treat many declining species that are endangered or threatened, including the sandhill crane, the gopher tortoise, and the wood stork.

They will be bringing some animals for us to learn about!
